This portrait is the third and last in the series and describes a life of transcendence. The beads of ego have disappeared completely and instead we have red fragrant roses that appear unconnected to the earth. The effect their fragrance has on the woman is rapturous. She has no ego in this moment and is simply one with her experience. The translucent drops on her clothing represent both the tears shed in her past struggles and the jewels of wisdom she has gained. The.poetry of Rumi was an influence on this series of paintings.
